Joshua Montoya | Principal Physiotherapist - Level 4
Josh grew up playing a lot of sport but developed a love and passion for football. He has played since he was 6 years old and moved over from England when he was 9. He continued to play the game in Australia, and unfortunately, has experienced a few injuries through his sporting career. It was this that led him to his interest in the human body, how it functions, and how it can be rehabilitated.
In 2013, he started his Bachelor of Exercise Science degree at Griffith University. In 2017, Josh continued his journey towards physiotherapy by starting his Masters of Physiotherapy. In 2019, Josh began working as a physiotherapist in private practice. Josh has a patient-centred care approach to his treatment, and strongly believes in not just getting patients out of pain but fixing the underlying cause and helping to prevent further injuries from occurring. He always has patients' goals in mind and works together with the patient to help achieve these goals. His qualifications include:
